For producers on a budget who want a focused, characterful Memorymoog emulation without paying for extras they won't use, that price difference is hard to ignore.

Memorymoog V's higher price reflects Arturia's engine quality and the fact that it typically arrives bundled within the larger V Collection ecosystem rather than as a pure standalone purchase, depending on current promotions. If you already own other Arturia instruments or plan to expand into their broader synth library, the value calculation shifts in Memorymoog V's favor, since you're buying into a shared interface and modulation philosophy across multiple instruments.
