Commission a small revision pass, human or AI-assisted, to shift the proportions, color palette, or typography enough that the design reads as inspired-by rather than copied-from.

What's a practical pre-launch checklist before I sell a paid skin?

Run through this before you ship:

  • Check your tool's training data, if that information is available. Some generation tools now disclose licensing terms for their training sets, and using a tool with clearer provenance reduces your risk.
  • Document every manual edit you made to the raw AI output. That record supports your claim to authorship if anyone ever challenges it.
